The Higher Educational Institution assesses the Community Partnership in Service-Learning: One Strategy for Institutionalizing Service-Learning
Abstract
Service-learning is a pedagogical methodology used by numerous higher educational institutions around the country. This study offers substantive institutional-community partner survey question examples from Campus Compact member websites targeting institutional assessment of the community partner for ascertaining both the quality and effectiveness of service-learning on campus and for accreditation purposes. There is a paucity of service-learning institutional assessment research, and this study attempts to alleviate that gap.
