The 2040 Plan for Northwest Indiana: How Public Engagement Guided the Formation of the Plan

The Northwestern Indiana Regional Planning Commission (NIRPC) prepared a Comprehensive Regional Plan for the three county Northwest Indiana region.  The involvement of numerous stakeholders, including many members of the general public, was essential and invaluable because their ideas formed the groundwork, the foundation for the entire plan development.
